When it comes to your Induction, get ready for an engaging two-day experience. On your first day, we’ll kick off with a warm welcome, where you’ll meet the team, explore our service standards, and dive into interactive training sessions. You’ll take a virtual tour, connect on our social network, and try on your uniform, ensuring you’re fully prepared for your journey ahead. Day two brings hands-on experience, including a comprehensive terminal tour led by our trainers. You’ll also receive practical training in manual handling and sales techniques, building valuable skills in a real-world setting. It’s two days filled with learning, connection, and a fantastic start to your career with us.

Arriving for your Interview

Jubilee House, North Terminal, Furlong Way, Gatwick, RH6 0JW

Important Information

You’ll meet your Assessor at Jubilee House which is on airport premises, located in the North Terminal.

Bus or Train

To arrive to Jubilee House via bus, take a bus to the Gatwick North Terminal. Once at the North Terminal, exit via the ground floor, walk under the covered walkway following the signs to the local bus stops, and Jubilee House will be on your left. If you arrive to the South Terminal, please use the Shuttle to the North Terminal. The North Terminal is a transit ride from the train station if you are arriving via train.

Driving

It is best to park in the North Terminal Short or Long Stay if travelling via car. Once parked, please head to ground floor and follow the signs for Local Buses. You will walk under a covered walkway. The building on the right-hand side is Jubilee House. Your cost of travel and parking is not reimbursed.

Things to know about working at Gatwick

As you’ll be working in an airside environment, you’ll need to be security cleared before you can start work. This can take 6-12 weeks from when you’re offered a role. We manage this process for you and will have checked your basic details prior to interview, so the chances are this will all go smoothly.

You’ll need to pass through security scanners each time you arrive for work (it’s just like when at the airport, including the same liquid restrictions) – this can take around 30 minutes. You need to incorporate getting through Security into your travel time. Once inside, there are a few key guidelines to ensure our operations run smoothly and securely. For instance, high-visibility vests and safety shoes are worn at all times, and ID passes are always displayed.

To keep our environment secure, mobile phones, bags, watches and most jewellery stay in lockers. Plus, anything we sell or stock must be declared before bringing it into the warehouse. This attention to detail ensures that every day at Gatwick Bond is not only safe but also compliant.
