The World Duty Free team of 12 at Exeter airport is friendly and flexible – the majority of them have worked here for many years as they love Airport Life! With lots of regular flights to Jersey and Guernsey, the team enjoy building rapport with repeat customers who regularly visit our store, along with maintaining our high standards of store housekeeping.
Because we are a small team we all have to be flexible – we have no set shifts but weekends and Sundays off are shared on a 5 week rota system. Our customer service assistants (CSAs) are generally recruited on 24 hour contracts (4 days in every 7 days) with hours being reduced to 6 hours per week during the winter months.
When it comes to your Induction – prepare for an exciting and immersive day! You’ll begin by meeting the team, diving into our service standards, and taking a tour of the terminal to familiarise yourself with the space. After engaging sessions on sales and our Level Up virtual tour, you’ll explore our work social network and finalise details such as your uniform order. We’ll also guide you through essential tools, from our communication platform to valuable resources. Expect a day full of learning, connection, and a fantastic start to your journey with World Duty Free!
