    All permanent World Duty Free employees are eligible for one of the Company’s bonus schemes subject to the scheme rules. We often also run seasonal incentives for our retail and logistics teams as well.

  • Health Cash Plan

    Medicash is a health cash plan that allows you to claim back the cost of treatments such as dental appointments, opticians, chiropractor, reflexology, specialist appointments, vaccinations, health screenings and so much more. It also has additional features such as a virtual GP, skin cancer screening tool, wellbeing app, digital physiotherapy, gym and retail discounts.

    Our staff shopping siteEmporium’ allows you to buy a wide range of products at substantial discount. You can also set up an account for up to 15 friends and family members as well. We also operate a Savings Scheme which gives you the opportunity to save throughout the year for Christmas purchases on Emporium.

  • Employee Assistance Programme

    We provide support to our teams through an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). This service provides confidential advice on a range of issues including family matters, relationships, financial worries, legal matters, bereavement, stress and housing issues. If needed, you can also access 8 sessions of counselling via this service.

  • Loyalty Scheme

    Club Avolta is a loyalty scheme you can use when travelling. You can get great discounts and collect points when shopping in our stores and with other travel partners.

  • Parking at Work

    Car parking whilst at work is provided at most of our UK locations. Arrangements vary from location to location so contact your HR team for more information.

  • Refer a Friend

    If you recommend someone for a vacancy and they are placed successfully and complete the required qualifying period then we will reward you with Emporium vouchers or a one-off payment.

  • Season Ticket Loans

    If you need support to buy a season/annual travel card then we can provide you with a loan for this which is then paid back over 10 months via a deduction from your salary.

  • Holiday Entitlement

    Your annual leave or holiday entitlement will depend on your shift pattern and grade and will increase after 3 years and 5 years’ service with the business.

  • Ride to Work Scheme

    This scheme allows individual to lease a bike and associated equipment in a tax efficient way with the payment spread out over 1-2 years.

  • Travel Card Discounts

    A number of locations have discounted public transport travel for those with Airport ID Passes. Your HR Team will be able to provide you with further information.

  • Savings and Discounts

    We have links with various providers for a range of discounts on retail, travel, days out. You may also be able to get discounts in the other retailers/operators within your location. We also have two staff shops which have discounted goods and frequently run sample sales throughout the year.

  • Pension Scheme

    You will be eligible to join our pension scheme which is provided by Aviva. You can either choose to join straight away but if not we will automatically enrol you after 3 months if you meet certain criteria. You can choose to opt out after this if you don’t want to be in the pension though.

  • Long Service Recognition

    Long service awards are one of the ways we use to say thank you for your loyalty. We recognise those individuals who have achieved 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 years service (and beyond!) with Emporium vouchers, pin badges and an annual celebration event.

  • Life Assurance

    Life Assurance cover provides your dependents with a lump sum benefit in the event of your death whilst employed by us. It is really important that you complete an expression of wish form when you join and keep this information updated.

  • Give As You Earn

    This scheme is a tax effective way of donating to charities of your choice. You can choose how much you would like to donate and each month and World Duty Free will also contribute an additional 10% of your chosen amount each month.

  • Car Salary Sacrifice Scheme*

    We partner with Tusker to offer some employees the opportunity to lease an electric or plug-in hybrid car through us. Due to salary requirements this benefit is limited to certain grades/roles.
